On Friday I went to see the brilliant Russell Howard of Mock the Week fame at Plymouth Pavilions. A superbly accurate dissection of modern culture, some expert comedy turns and a cheeky Westcountry charm made it a superb evening. Why am I blogging about this? Because his description of MPs’ expenses was the best I have heard yet.
Talking about the money MPs have claimed on their expenses he said “MPs’ defence for claiming all this money was that it was legal…but so is dressing up as Hitler and waking up your granny – but the thing id you just don’t do it!”
Brilliant…and I agree.
