Too many blogs?

“Following on from our recent post about the importance of MP re-engagement with the public via the blogosphere, it was interesting to read Hazel Blears’ thoughts on the topic.

According to Ms Blears, ‘corrosive cynicism’, sometimes in the form of political blogs, is endangering British political discourse. Now, this requires debate – isn’t political disenfranchisement often blamed on those aloof politicians? Now, Ms Blears does not blame all bloggers, picking out the long standing Tom Watson as an example of ‘good’ blogging, but is it short sighted to blame the ‘others’?”
